Today, the team has announced on their fanpage that they will be revealing their new roster this week. Kawah Ijen in Indonesia.</b><span style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; text-align: start;"> In 2008, Grunewald and his friend, Regis Etienne, heard about this strange blue lava flames which made both of them spent 30 nights in the crater for filming and photographing the area.</span><br style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; position: relative; text-align: start; word-wrap: break-word;" /><br style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; position: relative; text-align: start; word-wrap: break-word;" /><span style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; text-align: start;">Kawah Ijen volcano is one of the several volcanoes located in the 15km diameter Ijen Caldera in E Java, Indonesia.  Mt. Kawah Ijen’s crater contains a large warm acidic lake and harbors an active sulphur mine. Due to its easy accessibility, picturesque turquoise lake and one of its kind sulphur mining operation, the Kawah Ijen’s crater became an instant tourist destination in Indonesia. Other than these aspects, the out of this world blue lava quality of this volcano caught the attention of the world. Actually, the ‘magic’ doesn’t really happen during the day but during the dark hours of night. The high temperature liquid sulphur that flows from an active vent of Mt. Kawah Ijen appears bright red at day and gives off an eerie yet amazing blue light with flames as sun sets that can reach up to five feet in height.   </span><br style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; position: relative; text-align: start; word-wrap: break-word;" /><br style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; margin: 0px; max-width: 100%; padding: 0px; position: relative; text-align: start; word-wrap: break-word;" /><span style="font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 22.3999996185303px; text-align: start;">With Grunewald’s pursuit of revealing Mt. Kawah Ijen to the world, he learned that his hardship is nothing compared to the job of miners, who climb to the peak, descend 660 feet to reach its crater, just to pick up chunks of raw sulphur weighing 100 to 200 pounds and carry them back up to the rim in a pair of baskets in which they sell 680 rupees per kilo (about 5 cents US). These miners have been doing this job for over 40 years to double their meager income. Ironic to the beautiful incandescence of the lava, miners risk their lives by inhaling the toxic fumes from the volcano.</span></b></div>

Muli niyang ipinadyak-padyak ang kanyang mga paa na nakasuot ng high heels na may tatlong pulgada ang taas.<br /><br />     “Nag-strike ba ang mga drayber?”<br /><br />     “Hoy!”<br /><br />     Napalingon si Hannah sa kanyang likuran. Sa kabilang kanto ay nakita niya ang isang babaeng nakasuot ng puting duster. Gulu-gulo ang buhok nito na para bang bagong gising. May kapayataan din ang babae, parang nakakatusok ang mga buto sa mga braso kapag iyong hinawakan. Kumakaway ang babae sa kanya.<br /><br />     “Ako ba ang tinatawag nun?” Hindi ito pinansin ni Hannah at muling itinuon ang tingin sa maluwang na kalsada. “Nasaan na ba ang mga jeep?”<br /><br />     “Hoy,” muling sigaw ng babaeng nakaputi mula sa kanyang likuran. Bahagyang ipinihit ni Hannah ang kanyang mga mata at sinilip ang babae mula sa gilid ng kanyang mga mata.<br /><br />     Nagulat siya at napatalikod sa nakita.<br /><br />     Tumatakbo ang babaeng nakaputi patungo sa kanya. Nakataas ang dalawang kamay nito, ang mga daliri ay animong sa mabangis na leon na nakahandang manunggab at mangalmot. Binuksan niya ang isang kulay abong refrigerator at kumuha ng isang boteng tubig.<br /><br />     Isang kalabog ang narinig niya mula sa may pintuan.<br /><br />     Ano yun? May tao ba diyan?<br /><br />     Dahan-dahan siyang lumapit sa pintuan at binuksan ang switch ng ilaw. Malamlam na kulay dilay na ilaw na nanggagaling sa isang mumurahing bumbilya ang pumuno sa kanyang  maliit na bahay. Hinawi niya ang kurtina at sumilip sa bintana.<br /><br />     Wala naman siyang nakitang tao o anumang bagay na gumagalaw sa labas. Mukhang tulog na tulog pa ang lahat sa oras na ito.<br /><br />     Muli niyang pinatay ang ilaw at bumalik sa kusina. Matapos makainom ng tubig ay ibinalik niya ang boteng hawak-hawak sa refrigerator. Babalik na sana siya sa kanyang kuwarto ng may makita sa gilid ng kanyang mga mata. Hindi sapat ang liwanag na nanggagaling sa buwan na pumapasok sa kanyang bintana.<br /><br />     “Anong ginagawa mo rito?”<br />     Muling narinig ni Hannah ang boses. Sa pakiwari niya ay lalo itong lumakas at para bang punung-puno ng galit.<br /><br />     “S-Sinong nandyan?” tanong ni Hannah. Pilit niyang inilakas ang kanyang boses upang ipakitang hindi siya natatakot ngunit nanginginig naman ang kanyang tinig.<br /><br />     “H-Hindi ako natatakot. T-Tatawag ako ng pulis.”<br /><br />     Iginalang muli ni Hannah ang kanyang mga mata sa buong kuwarto. Kahit madilim ay pilit niyang inaaninag ang bawat sulok ng silid.<br /><br />     “Bakit ka nakahiga sa kama ko?”<br /><br />     Lumingon si Hannah sa may bintana at nahintakutan siya sa kanyang nakita. Ang babaeng nakaputi na kanina ay humahabol sa kanya, ngayon ay nasa loob ng kanyang kuwarto. Kitang-kita niya ang mukha at hitsura ng babae kahit na madilim.<br /><br />     Mahaba ang kulot na buhok ng babae na mukhang ilang araw ng hindi pa nalilinis at nasusuklayan. Ang mga mata naman nito ay nanlilisik, galit na galit.  Nakangiti ang babae kaya’t kitang-kita ni Hannah ang mga ngipin nitong bungi-bungi at ang ilan ay nangingitim na sa kabulukan. Ngunit agad din siyang napatahimik ng sunggaban siya ng babae at takpan ang kanyang bibig. Dinaganan pa siya nito kaya’t hindi siya makagalaw.<br /><br />     “Bakit ka nakahiga sa kama ko?” muling tanong ng babae. Mula sa likuran nito ay dumukot siya ng isang bagay. Nang itaas niya ang kanyang kamay ay hawak-hawak na nito ang isang malaking kutsilyo.<br /><br />     Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Hannah sa nakita. Pinilit niyang pumiglas ngunit dinadaganan ng mga tuhod ng babae ang kanyang mga braso.<br /><br />“Kailan ka ba mawawala sa buhay ko?” tanong ng babaeng nakaputi sabay tutok ng patalim sa leeg ni Hannah.<br /><br />Diyos ko po! Kriiing!<br /><br />Napalingon siya sa kanyang kanan at nakita ang telepono.<br /><br />May tumatawag, naisip niya.<br /><br />Dahan-dahan niyang nilapitan ang telepono na nakapatong sa isang lamesita ngunit biglang tumigil ito sa pagring. Napatigil din si Hannah sa kanyang kinatatayuan.<br /><br />A-Ano bang nangyari? Panaginip lang ba iyon?<br /><br />Tiningnan niya ang orasang bilog na nakasabit sa pader.<br /><br />“Alas tres na ng hapon.”<br /><br />Muli niyang kinapa ang kanyang leeg.<br /><br />     Mukhang panaginip nga lang. Nakatulog pala ako dito sa sofa, hindi ko man lang napansin.<br /><br />     Malakas na napabuntong-hininga si Hannah. Gamit ang kanyang kamay ay pinunasan niya ang mga butil ng pawis sa kanyang noo.<br /><br />     Biglang kumalam ang kanyang sikmura .<br /><br />     Gutom na ko, nasabi niya sa sarili.  Teka, hindi pa ba ako nanananghalian?<br /><br />Nagkibit-balikat na lamang siya at tinungo ang kusina. Naghanap siya ng mailuluto at makakain. Ngunit, nadismaya siya ng makitang walang bigas, o anumang ulam siyang pwedeng lutuin.<br /><br />“Pambihirang buhay ito,” nasabi niya. “Bibili na nga lang ako sa labas.”<br /><br />Matapos suklayin ang kanyang maiksing buhok, lumabas si Hannah at ini-lock ang pinto ng kanyang bahay.<br /><br />Dahil mainit ang sikat ng araw, iilang tao lamang ang nasa labas. May ilan-ilan ding tricycle ang maingay na nagdadaan sa kalsada.<br /><br />Ano bang bibilhin ko? Yung luto na lang, kaya?<br /><br />“Ikaw!”<br /><br />Isang malakas na sigaw ang gumulantang kay Hannah. Nang lumingon siya sa kanyang likuran ay nasindak siya sa kanyang nakita.<br /><br />Hinahabol siya ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br /><br /><br />“H-Hindi…”<br /><br />“Ikaw na naman!” sigaw ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />“Hindi totoo ito,” sabi ni Hannah. Ipinikit niya ang kanyang mga mata at kinusut-kusot ang mga ito. Ngunit nang dumilat siya ay naroroon pa rin ang babae.<br /><br />“H-Hindi!” Mabilis na kumaripas ng takbo si Hannah.<br /><br />“Papatayin kita! Papatayin kita!” paulit-ulit na sigaw ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />“T-Tulong! Tulungan ninyo ako!” sigaw ni Hannah. Ngunit para bang walang nakakarinig sa kanya. Ang mga taong nakatambay sa isang tindahan sa di-kalayuan ay patuloy lamang sa paglalaro ng dama. Ang matabang ale naman na may hawak-hawak na payong ay tuluy-tuloy lang sa paglalakad.<br /><br />“Tulong! Tulo—“<br /><br />Nadapa si Hannah. Napahiyaw siya sa sakit ng tumama ang kanyang mukha at kumadkad ang kanyang mga braso’t tuhod sa magaspang na semento.<br /><br />“Hindi ka na makakatakas ngayon!”<br /><br />Mabilis na tumihaya si Hannah at nakita ang babaeng nakaputi sa kanyang harapan. Hawak-hawak na nito ang kutsilyo at iwinawagayway na parang isang bandila.<br /><br />“S-Sino ka ba?” tanong ni Hannah ngunit nginitian lamang siya ng babae. “Anong kailangan mo sa’kin? Bakit mo ginagawa ito?”<br /><br />“Bakit?” Biglang naging seryoso ang mukha ng babae, puno ng galit. “Dahil galit ako sa’yo!”<br /><br />“G-Galit? Ano namang ginawa ko sa’yo?” naiiyak na tanong ni Hannah.<br /><br />Muling ngumiti ang babaeng nakaputi at humalakhak. “Kapag wala ka na, magiging normal na ang buhay ko!”<br /><br />Pagkasabi nito ay sinuggaban ng babae si Hannah at tinadtad ng saksak.<br /><br />Wala ng nagawa ang dalaga kundi ang maligo sa sariling dugo.<br /><br />Bakit? Bakit?<br /><br />Ito tanging tumatakbo sa isipan ni Hannah.<br /><br />“Uy, yung babae o, may hawak na kutsilyo.”<br /><br />“Oo nga! Naku, mabuti pa tumawag tayo ng tulong.”<br /><br />Sa narinig ay parang nanumbalik ang lakas ni Hannah.<br /><br />Tulong? Tulong! Tulungan ninyo ako.<br /><br />Hindi pa rin tumitigil ang babaeng nakaputi sa pagsaksak sa kanya. Hindi na niya mabilang kung ilang saksak ba ang tinanggap niya.<br /><br />Tulungan niyo po ako! sigaw ni Hannah sa kanyang isipan.<br /><br />Biglang tumigil ang pagsaksak ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />     “O, hawakan mong mabuti. Yung kutsilyo, yung kutsilyo!”<br /><br />     “Nasaan ba ang nanay nito?”<br /><br />     Dahan-dahang iminulat ni Hannah ang kanyang mga mata.<br /><br />     Buhay pa ako?<br /><br />     Sa kanyang harapan ay nakita niya ang ilang lalaki na hawak-hawak ang babaeng nakaputi. Hindi naman tumitigil ang babae sa pagsigaw at pagpupumiglas.<br /><br />     “Papatayin ko siya! Papatayin ko siya!”<br /><br />     Tulungan ninyo ako, tawag ni Hannah sa kanyang isipan. D-Dalhin ninyo ako sa ospital.<br /><br />     Ngunit walang pumapansin sa kanya. Ni wala man lamang tumitingin sa kanya. Ang lahat ng atensyon ng mga tao ay nakatuon sa babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />     “Anak ko! Nasaan ang anak ko”<br /><br />     Isang matandang babae ang tumakbo at lumuhod sa harapan ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />     “Jessica! Anak ko! Ano bang nangyayari sa iyo? Tigilan mo na ito,” sabi ng matandang babae habang humahagulgol.<br /><br />     “Papatayin ko siya, inay. Papatunayan ko sa iyo na hindi ako baliw!” sagot ng babaeng nakaputi sabay tawa.<br /><br />     “Misis,” sabat ng isang lalaki na may hawak sa isang kamay ng babaeng nakaputi, “mabuti pa ho, ipa-commit niyo na itong anak niyo. Marami na hong mga nagrereklamo. Natatakot. Ngayon nga ho, tingnan niyo may dala-dala pang kutsilyo ‘tong anak niyo. Buti na lang at walang nasaktan.”<br /><br />     Walang nasaktan? gulat na naisip ni Hannah. Ako! Hindi niyo ba ako nakikita?<br /><br />     “Papatayin ko siya, inay! Pangako ko ‘yan!”<br /><br />     “Jessica anak, tigilan mo na ito.”<br /><br />     Ano ba talagang nangyayari!<br /><br />     Muling nilamon ng kadiliman si Hannah.<br /><br /><br />###<br /><br />     Malamig.<br /><br />     Dahan-dahang idinilat ni Hannah ang kanyang mga mata.<br /><br />     Nasaan ako?<br /><br />     Iginala niya ang kanyang mga mata. Nasa isang maliit na silid siya. Ang mga pader ay pulos kulay puti. Nakahiga siya sa isang maliit ngunit malambot na kama. Sa isang pader ay may nakakabit na wall fan at maingay na umiikot-ikot.<br /><br />     O-Ospital ba ito?<br /><br />     Bagamat nanghihina ay pinilit niyang tumayo.<br /><br />     O-Ospital nga! Ospital nga ito. Ligtas ako.<br /><br />     Muli niyang naalala ang mga nangyari. Isang babaeng nakaputi, isang babaeng baliw ang humabol sa kanya at tinadtad siya ng saksak. Biglang nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata.<br /><br />     Agad niyang ininspeksyon ang kanyang katawan. Wala siya ni isa mang sugat.   <br /><br />     “Ano ito? Panaginip na naman ba iyon? P-Pero, bakit nasa ospital ako.”<br /><br />     “Talagang hindi mo ako tatantanan, ano!”<br /><br />     Isang matigas na bagay ang tumama sa kanyang ulo kaya’t muli siyang napahiga. Pagkatapos ay isang mabigat na bagay ang pumatong sa kanya.<br /><br />     Ang babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />     Inupuan nito ang kanyang tiyan at dinaganan ng mga tuhod nito ang kanyang dalawang braso.<br /><br />     “Ikaw ang sumira ng buhay ko!” sigaw nito sabay sampal kay Hannah.<br /><br />     Napasigaw si Hannah sa sakit at sa pagkagulat. “A-Ano bang ginawa ko sa iyo? Bakit mo ba ako ginaganito?” nagmamakaawang tanong ni Hannah.<br /><br />     Tumawa lang ang babae. “Ang tibay mo rin, ano? Kahit ilang beses kitang patayin, nandiyan ka pa rin palagi. Sabi tuloy nila, baliw daw ako. Na imahinasyon lang kita. Na hindi ka totoo.”<br /><br />     “Nababaliw ka na talaga!” sigaw ni Hannah. Sinubukan niyang kumawala ngunit mabigat ang babae.<br /><br />     Muling humalakhak ang babae. “Ako? Baliw? Paano akong magiging baliw eh, nandito ka nga. Nakikita kita. Nahahawakan.” Mabilis na inilagay ng babae ang kanyang dalawang kamay sa leeg ni Hannah.<br /><br />     “Maawa ka. Hu—“ Hindi na naituloy ni Hannah ang sasabihin ng sakalin siya ng babaeng nakaputi.<br /><br />     “Mamatay ka na! Mamatay ka na! Mamatay ka na! Mamatay ka na! Please!”<br /><br /><br />###<br /><br />     “Edwin, yung patient sa Room 155, si Jessica de los Santos, nagwawala na naman.”<br /><br />     “Ha? Anong ginagawa?”<br /><br />“Sinasakal yung unan niya tapos nagsisisigaw, ‘Mamatay ka na! Mamatay ka na!’”<br /><br />“Ah, naku ganun talaga iyon. Titigil din iyon maya-maya.”<br /><br />“Ganun ba? Nag-aalala lang ako baka kasi maistorbo yung ibang pasyente.”<br /><br />“O sige. Kapag hindi pa siya tumigil in five minutes, bigyan natin siya ng pampakalma.”<br /><br />“Okay. Pero, kawawa naman siya, ano.”<br /><br />“Ganun talaga. Isa siyang babaeng baliw.”</div>

In 1971, wealthy Filipino official Manuel Elizalde discovered a Stone Age tribe living in isolation somewhere in Cotabato. They wore leaves, spoke their own dialect, and used crude tools like stone axes. Soon, the newly found “Tasaday” tribe became a worldwide sensation, hitting the headlines of Reader’s Digest, National Geographic, and Associated Press.</div>

Fast forward to 1986, Swiss journalist Oswald Iten visited the Tasaday tribe and got the shock of his life. He discovered that the lost tribe did not only wear T-shirts and jeans but also spoke modern local dialects. Turns out, the Tasadays–who were actually T’boli and Manobo farmers–were only forced to act like cave men so Elizalde would give them gifts. Soon enough, the story of the <span style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Stone Age tribe</span> were described as the “greatest hoax since Piltdown Man”.</div>

Quezon. A tree planted by Quezon commemorates the event.<br />The capitol features a domed three-level main building flanked by a two-level wing on both sides.<br />The concave facade at the middle portion of the building contains an inscription that says “The authority of the government emanates from the people. Erected A.D. MCMXXXVII.”</span></b><br />
